Having been shut out on more than one of the picks on her shortlist during the opening two sessions of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Spring 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale, agent Gayle Van Leer finally broke the six-figure mark when she signed a winning ticket April 22 for a Pioneerof the Nile colt (update:Now named CABO SPIRIT and a stakes winner!).
